Entre gelosies, penombra, encens, càntics, oracions. Una mà, una altra mà. Mirades. Somriures. Tagim. Un brindis. Ja està fet. Cap document, cap paper, només un compromís verbal. Una voluntat compartida. Ens hem donat la mà amb una rialla sincera, al voltant d'una taula i hem menjat i begut per celebrar i segellar l'acord. Cinc amics i un projecte comú i compartit. Queda constituïda la societat Catalana de Fes. Hi hem arribat sense esforç. Una estranya inèrcia ens mantenia estables en la direcció que inconscientment ja havíem anat traçant des de feia temps en els nostres somnis.
L'objectiu? Divertir-se emprenent una aventura que res té a veure amb el que fèiem fins ara. Divertir-se, certament, però posant tota la il.lusió en aquest projecte per tal que esdevingui una realitat. Una realitat que doni fruits i reforci el lligam amb aquesta ciutat màgica. Entre tots hem dissenyat allò que volem crear. Pretenem incorporar un nou pantone en l'acolorida paleta de Fès. Una altra tonalitat que pugui agrair el turista i l'àrab que cerca alguna cosa diferent. No inventem res, només volem reinterpretar i treure de context. Us agradarà. N'estic segur. Ara toca posar-nos mans a l'obra. Per tant si m'ho permeteu, us deixo una estona, però torno desseguida per explicar-vos amb detall en què consisteix tot plegat, i per què creiem que pot ser del vostre interès. No marxeu. Fins ara.

CATALANA DE FES: the Expression of a Will
Among latticework, shadows, incense, chants and prayers. One
hand, another hand. Looks. Smiles. Tagim. A toast. It is already
done. No document or formal paper, just a verbal agreement. A shared will. We shook hands with a
sincere laugh around a table and we ate and drank to celebrate and to seal the
deal. Five friends and a common and shared project. The Catalan society is finally set up in Fes. We have arrived at it
without effort. A strange inertia kept us stable in the direction that
unconsciously we had been drawing in our dreams for a long time . The objective? Undertaking a fun adventure that has
nothing to do with what we have been doing so far. Enjoying oneself, certainly,
but putting all the enthusiasm in this project so that it becomes a reality. A
reality that gives fruits and reinforces the bond with this magical city. Together we have designed what we want to create. We intend to
incorporate a new pantone into
the colorful palette of Fez.
Another tonality that
the tourist and the Arab who looks for something different can appreciate. We do not invent
anything, we only want to reinterpret and to take it out of context. You will like it.

Jo visc a Barcelona, però estic enamorat de la ciutat antiga de FES. He viatjat a aquesta meravellosa ciutat moltes i moltes vegades i fins i tot he assistit un parell d'anys al Festival de Musiques religioses que es celebra cada any a la primavera.
